Keith  A.  Cline
President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Cline has served as the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer since February 18, 2016, after serving as Interim President and Chief Executive Officer since September 15, 2015. Mr. Cline has served on the Company’s Board of Directors since September 2015. From January 2013 until November 2015, Mr. Cline was the Company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. From 2011 to 2013, prior to joining the Company, Mr. Cline was Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Charming Charlie, Inc. and, from 2006 to 2011, Mr. Cline was Senior Vice President of Finance at Express, Inc. Mr. Cline began his career at Arthur Andersen & Company and held financial leadership roles at The J.M. Smucker Company, FedEx Custom Critical and Limited Brands. Mr. Cline is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Akron with a B.S. in Accounting and a M.B.A. in Finance.

James  H.  Forson
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Forson has served as the Company’s Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer since February 2016. He previously served as the Company’s Interim Chief Financial Officer from November 2015 until February 2016 and as Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer and Treasurer from 2012 until February 2016. Prior to that role, Mr. Forson was Vice President and Controller from 2010, when he joined La Quinta, to 2012 and also served as Acting Chief Financial Officer from 2012 to 2013. Prior to joining La Quinta, Mr. Forson was Audit Senior Manager with Grant Thornton LLP from 2006 through 2010. Mr. Forson graduated from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce with a B.S. degree in Commerce with distinction, and is a Certified Public Accountant in Texas.

John  W.  Cantele
Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

John Cantele joined La Quinta as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in April 2016. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Cantele served as Global Head, Select Hotels at Hyatt Hotels Corporation since 2011. At Hyatt, he also served in the roles of Senior VP, Select Hotels and Senior VP, Hyatt Summerfield Suites/Hyatt House. From 2000 to 2011, Mr. Cantele was Senior Vice President of Operations and Partner with LodgeWorks Hotel Corporation. Early in his career, Mr. Cantele held positions with several hospitality brands including Guest Quarters Hotels, Residence Inn, Summerfield Suites Hotels and Wyndham International, Inc., serving in various roles, including Vice President of Operations as well as a sales manager, director of sales and multi-property director of sales/general manager. Mr. Cantele graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a B.S. degree in Hospitality Management.

Rajiv  K.  Trivedi
Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer

Mr. Trivedi joined La Quinta in 2000 and has served as the Company’s Executive Vice President since 2006 and as Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer since 2009. Prior to joining us, from 1992 to 2000, Mr. Trivedi served as Vice President of Franchise Operations at Cendant Corporation and in a variety of key management roles in the hotel industry, including Cendant Corporation. Mr. Trivedi is active in numerous civic and industry organizations including the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA). Mr. Trivedi graduated from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda with an M.S. in Math and Business.

Julie  M.  Cary
Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer

Ms. Cary joined La Quinta in 2006 as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to joining the Company, from 2004 to 2006, Ms. Cary served as Vice President at Brinker International, as Vice President of Marketing at Dean Foods from 2003 to 2004, as Senior Manager of Marketing until promoted to Vice President of Marketing at Gerber Products Company from 1998 to 2003 and as Assistant Brand Manager until promoted to Brand Manager at Ralston Purina from 1991 to 1997. Ms. Cary holds an M.B.A. from Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Illinois.

Mark  M.  Chloupek
Executive Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel

Mr. Chloupek joined La Quinta as Executive Vice President and General Counsel in 2006 and was named Secretary in 2013. Prior to joining the Company, from 1999 through 2006, Mr. Chloupek served as Vice President and Senior Vice President and Chief Counsel of Operations for Wyndham International, Inc. Prior to joining Wyndham, from 1996 to 1999, Mr. Chloupek worked for Locke Lord LLP (formerly Locke Purnell Rain Harrell—a professional corporation), a Dallas-based law firm. Additionally, Mr. Chloupek currently serves on the board of the Dallas Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and formerly served on The Texas General Counsel Forum. Mr. Chloupek received a B.A. in economics from the College of William and Mary, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude, and received a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.

Vivek  Shaiva
Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer

Vivek Shaiva joined La Quinta in 2007 as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Prior to joining La Quinta, Mr. Shaiva served as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Architecture for WHM LLC from 2005 to 2007. He also served as the Director of Enterprise Software Architecture at NBC Universal-GE, New York from 2003 to 2005. From 2000 to 2003, he led several IT consulting assignments in leadership roles at NDS Inc. including assignments as lead architect at Sotheby's, New York. Prior to that, he worked in various software engineering and IT leadership roles in the telecom, finance and transportation industries from 1989 to 2000. Mr. Shaiva graduated from Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow with a master of business administration degree and specialization in Information Systems.

Donna  R.  Cooper

Donna Cooper has served as La Quinta's Executive Vice President of Sales since 2012. Prior to that role, Ms. Cooper was Senior Vice President of Sales from 2005 to 2012 and Vice President of Field Sales from 2002, when she joined La Quinta, to 2005. From 2001 to 2002, she was the Vice President of Sales at Interstate Hotels & Resorts and from 2000 to 2001 was the Corporate Director of Sales at Bradford Home Suites. From 1984 to 2000, Ms. Cooper served in various roles at Bristol Hotels & Resorts including Director of Sales & Marketing, Regional Sales Director and Corporate Director of Revenue Management.

Mikki Hughes, SPHR
Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer

Mikki Hughes is a highly successful human resources professional with leadership expertise and a strong background in talent acquisition and retention strategies, organizational culture development and refinement, employee relations, employment litigation, M&A, diversity strategies, and succession planning.

Ms. Hughes has served as La Quinta’s Executive Vice President of Human Resources since February of 2016. She previously served as the Company’s Senior Vice President of Human Resources from 2014 to 2016 and Vice President of Employee Relations & Talent Acquisition from 2009 to 2014. She joined La Quinta in 2006 as Director of Human Resources.  Prior to joining the Company, she held positions of increased responsibility at Wyndham International, including Director of Corporate Human Resources.

Ms. Hughes holds her SHRM-SCP and SPHR certifications.
